How to overthrow the management committee?

A CharityConnect User Posted 5 years ago

Hello,
I am a regular church attendee. The church is under new management since September. The executive management has started construction without the consultation of the public and also began working without approval of the local authority. Recently it has been found that the local authority has rejected their application for the works to be done and the 99 years lease is on the threat if they do not remove all building works urgently. I was one of many donators to this community service. They have used the funds to make works without any consultation. Despite all this, they are still attempting to hold onto their positions. Majority of the public are not happy with the conducts of the management.
We as public have consulted with local councillors, got in touch with Charity commissions, and the local authority but nothing seem to be going anywhere especially with Covid-19 delaying any form of communications. The Church is in threat of losing its identity and its 99 year lease. Is there any ways to overthrow the management from their positions? or seek for re-election of management? Or any other recommendations?
Please could you advise. Many thanks
