Hi, would someone be able to give me some advice please. My friend has a small charity - they collect books from a few schools in England and take them to a slum library in Chandigarh, India. On the most recent visit they also took letters from the children in England and got replies from the Indian children and will be having a video link between the schools/library. So far he has funded this all himself, but there has been a lot more interest in India and could be opportunities to develop and increase the scope following a meeting with the British high commissioner in Chandigarh. He is now thinking of setting it up as a registered charity, but there is no income as yet so I didn't know if this is possible. I would be very grateful for any advice, thank you
