Is the Bid Beacon silent auction app any good?

Hi everyone,
We are looking to run our own silent auction at our fundraising dinner in May and are looking into which apps we could use for this. We like the look of Bid Beacon but would appreciate to hear if anyone else has used this before? Can it be trusted or alternatively have you used any other silent auction apps that you could recommend? Thanks so much!
