I had a really rough time in my last job, being essentially pushed out after the charity found out my depression and anxiety was affecting me as much as my physical disability. I achieved so much there in such a small time. I often think in my personal statement that people must think I'm exaggerating.
I feel ready for a CEO small charity role but:
a. I want to use my disability as an example of my drive and compassion etc, as well as for problem solving but I'm scared people will write me off
b. Despite having had a manager reporting to the board (ie. CEO) role in my last few jobs the title intimidates me
I'm so worried my application will be turned down (normally without feedback) I've got total writers' block. Help!
