This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
The community space where we are working is being badly managed. The manager isn’t relaying important info to their board members and we are all concerned about the lack of communication and the unnecessary gossiping.
Long standing volunteers are leaving and we are concerned that the manager is running the centre into the ground. The property is left unlocked at least twice a week, the place is left untidy and when the manager is approached it is met with defence and rudeness.
What is the best way to manage this situation? Or should we look for an alternative space. It would be shame as it has the potential to thrive.
