Hi all,
For the last few years we have run a popular annual raffle over several months bringing in £10-£14K. Paper tickets have been distributed with our magazine to all our members with few additional online sales in our webshop.
We had a double whammy last year of the changes to the gambling commission rules around using credit cards for lottery products (our shop doesn't let us make a distinction between debit/credit cards so inhouse online sales are now out) and the bank now charge £1.50 to process each cheque and are closing our local branch which makes the viability of our inhouse paper based operation really tricky so I'm a bit stuck!
I've been looking at outsourced solutions but can only seem to find mailing houses (expensive/ data intensive) or entirely online options (which wouldn't have the right reach) - has anyone come across a useful offline way of directing people to a debit card transaction - I wondered if anyone has tried a QR code on a paper insert to direct people to buying tickets as an online (debit card) transaction on a particular platform??
Any answers or suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ellen
