- There didn't seem to be much focus on beneficiaries being helped or outcomes as a result of a donation - perhaps this is why it didn't achieve as much uptake as they hoped?
- 1p seemed like an inconsequential amount and perhaps therefore discouraged people from going through the effort of signing up
- The technology itself seemed interesting - would love to see more contactless payment mechanisms for donating in the wild generally, and think they could still be models to explore alongside other transactions - Give a Dime and Bstow are examples of this in the US
- Perhaps the low overall engagement of a donor (small amount of money to part with, invisible deductions after initial sign up, intangible outcome) contributed to results being poorer than expected?
