project manager

New

Hi
I work for a charity that has various projects that are not linked either by funders or workers. However, our common link is our board. There are various issues with the chair person, who seems to believe that all the money belonging to our charity belongs to them  and seems to believe that because they have  been the chair for 35 years they can just do what they want, not make joint decisions with the board and threaten myself and other project managers. Some of the board members are relatively new and have been supported by an independent agency to receive training and guidance. It has been suggested to them that they should seek to gain sight of the Articles of referendum (?? I think that's what its called) and if they are really unhappy report to the charity commission.
What I need to know is, if the charity commission have concerns and decide to suspend our activities and make any kind of investigation, do staff have a right to still be paid??

Thank you
