Selling t-shirts via print on demand

Has anyone sold t-shirts (and potentially other merchandise) to their supporters via a print-on-demand service?
We are a teeny, tiny charity consisting of two trustees and so do not have the time to send out t-shirts to people; but there on the other hand our logo is quite cool and we can see that people might want to wear the shirt. Plus we also need to get about five printed for people to wear at events.
I am looking at Redbubble but a lot of their fulfillment is abroad, so any suggestions about how to do this is very welcome.
