Hello all! Just joined the lovely community and looking forward to pick the brains of people here!
I have been developing this idea of starting a charity that addresses the recently influx of immigration of people from Asia. My question is, would I violate any immigration laws if I register my association while I am on a tier 2 skilled worker visa? I am not a British citizen.
The regulation on this that I know of is:
"You are allowed to take voluntary work, as defined in the National Minimum Wage Act. You must not be paid for voluntary work, except for reasonable expenses."
However I'm not sure if I am allowed to START a charity and run it?
