When people donate to Freegle, we send a personal thank you for a larger donation.  Larger in Freegle's world is £20 or more; many of our donations are for £1.  As they should be - if you want to donate a lot, donate to SightSavers.
It occurred to me today that we also ought to thank people who donate smaller amounts regularly.  Partly because they will add up over time, but also because it is very kind of them to show a sustained commitment.
So I had a look for those people.  There are some people who’ve donated to us tens of times. There are two people who’ve donated more than a hundred times.  There's one who has donated 236 times.
I feel bad that those people have been under the radar. From now on we will have something in place to ensure we thank them too.  I sent out a few of them this morning.
I got back a reply thanking me for thanking them.  Freeglers are lovely.
