Does the address Cheshire sound quite well heeled and upper class?
You would be correct in most leafy parts of Cheshire. Sadly, there are many in debt and cannot afford to eat properly or heat their homes. There are quite a few areas with high rates of deprivation.
The charity aims to "Provide free, impartial and non-judgemental debt advice to people when and where they need it."
From small steps in 2008 they are about to open The Port Grocery to give everyone the chance to join a grocery club for a small monthly fee. With support and partnership with other local charities and groups. The local food bank has enjoyed much support from TDAN and will be working alongside us in the next part of this exciting project.
Our trustees help support the paid staff and managers of this much needed work.
