Tips for advertising volunteer position

Hello everyone. I have recently joined this lovely platform and enjoy reading the posts, as and when I do get an opportunity. I started with Birthlink Charity, Edinburgh, Scotland at the beginning of September.
What are your tips of finding volunteers? We have the oldest Thrift Shop in Scotland and looking for volunteers. We have advertised on social media, as well as Volunteer Edinburgh.
Any other suggestions would be welcome.
