our still-to-be-registered charity would like to have the option of using an internet platform like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey to record our trustee voting on decisions. I am getting ready to submit our charitable status application and the CIO template from the Charities Commission I'm using is a bit vague about it.
I had an amazing lawyer helping me but now he's not available anymore so I was wondering if anyone had an example clause on using internet platforms to record trustee voting?
The clauses in the CC template regarding voting are woolly on the subject and might not be sufficient. They seem to allow voting at online video conferences, but don't specify that includes polls, or whether it just means it allows video conferences where people raise their hand.
