Josh Dale-Harris Chairman & Founder at Gambia School Support 1176136 Posted 3 months ago

Gambia School Support (GSS) assists 13 pre-primary schools and we have grown rapidly from assisting 1 school in 2020. The project is heavily reliant on one person (me) and GSS's stakeholders feel that we have reached a stage when added resource is needed to reduce the burden on one person and reduce the risk of a setback to the project should I become incapacitated.

GSS's income for 2026 should be about £200k and one of the foundations that supports us is interested in giving us a grant to cover 'operational costs'.
This is, no doubt, a common problem facing charities as they grow and any thoughts or suggestions on how to go about sourcing paid or unpaid assistance would be appreciated.
