I have recently started working for an organisation that carries out annual checks for volunteer drivers. Each year, volunteers are asked to confirm whether there have been any changes to their driving licence or insurance and whether they are still able to drive as part of their volunteering. They are also asked to have an eye test every two years.

This is a new area for me, so I would really appreciate some guidance on what organisations are legally required to check and what is considered good practice when managing volunteer drivers.
