Workflow Max replacement/Xero purchase order system

Hi - I have 2 finance-related questions (linked but can be answered separately)
1. has anyone been using Workflow Max (finance software) and is looking for a replacement system now that it is being phased out? What alternatives have you found to be most suitable?
2. Have you found the purchase order system on Xero to be sufficient and effective for month to month accounting and reporting?
