CharityConnect: workshop- Introduction to grant funding for charities and not for profits
I am wondering if a zoom workshop that my organisation runs might be useful to people on here or people that you may work with
“Introduction to grant funding for charities and not for profits”
This is a three-hour workshop on Zoom that covers.
•           The grant environment
•           Telling your story - Application forms / Application letters
•           Project Budget
•           What else you might need
•           Where to find information about grants
The workshops involve practical tasks for the participants.
Each workshop is suitable for a maximum of 6 people (Anymore and the workshop element does not work.)
The course is tried and tested (for example – commissioned by People Plus)
Here is some feedback; -
“Thank you so much for this morning, it was extremely helpful and has made me and Nat really excited to get going with writing our funding bid. “
“I really enjoyed today’s session again. I like your pace and the way we all get our chance to speak in relation to our own experience.”
“I found the resources extremely helpful and appreciate the comprehensive and concise information”.
“I have just been hearing some very positive things about the Grant Funding course provided by you from Debbie. She has just won some funding for a project in Oldham, which she says the training provided has supported her hugely in this.”
The cost for each course (for up to 6 people) from Community Help and Information Service CIC is £300 (no vat)
So, if 6 organisations got together it becomes very affordable. (£50 each)
If you are interested drop me a line and let’s, see if we can get 6 people.
