It's been such a short week this one, how's everyone doing? 

I was checking my calendar yesterday and realised we have another Bank Holiday approaching in a couple of weeks. Woop! 🙌  Did anyone else totally forget about this? 🙈 

I only returned from my holiday last week and can't believe I have to plan for a new break so soon already. Not too shabby,  heh. The photo above is actually from my last trip to Latvia and the lake is not too far from the capital - Riga. It's the quietest and most relaxed place ever, and nobody really knows it's there. A trip to Riga is usually pretty affordable and you get a nice mix of The Art Nouveau buildings in the old town, the most beautiful parks, fun night life and a good range of unique restaurants for my fellow foodies. In the meantime, you can always do a quick escape from the city and go see the countryside nearby. 🌲It's perfect for a short getaway in Europe and is not one of your usual travel destinations. Go check it out. 😉
