'On behalf of' and 'in aid of' volunteers - Anonymous 🙈

A CharityConnect User Posted 6 years ago

This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
"Hi all,

How do you classify your fundraising volunteers in terms of whether they are 'on behalf of' or 'in aid of volunteers' ? https://www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk/guidance/events-and-community/working-with-volunteer-fundraisers/#onbehalfofandinaidof

We have some groups that have their own constitution but fundraise for us. We don't dictate how and when they should do fundraise but they use our insurance to do so. I am of the opinion we should count them as ' on behalf of' volunteers.

Any thoughts would be really appreciated!

Thanks 😊"
