CharityConnect: 20 Trusts That Fund Organisations That Aren't Registered Charities
Many trusts will only fund you, if you're a registered charity, but there are quite a few who will fund other organisations, including very small unregistered charities.  Here are 20 trusts that fund unincorporated organisations, from the free Charity Excellence Framework Maximising Income questionnaire. To access the full list of 40+, register here. It takes 2 minutes and the online toolkit, its quality mark and resources are all completely free.
Arts Council National Lottery Projects Grants - arts, museums and libraries projects that engage people in England with arts and culture.
Awards For All - between £300 and £10k for grassroots and community activity.
Banks Community Fund - community and environmental projects in areas close to a current or proposed Banks Group operation in Scotland or the North of England.
Community Foundations - 46 across the UK, investing in local people and organisations.
Michael Tippett Music Foundation - group music-making in the UK, especially involving young people in projects incorporating composition and creative ideas.
National Lottery: Reaching Communities - flexible funding over £10k for up to 5 years to organisations in England for issues that matter to people and communities.
People's Health Trust - Active Communities Funding Programme - local communities in England, Scotland and Wales to help create a society without health inequalities.
Strategic Legal Fund for Vulnerable Young Migrants - specialist level legal advice to vulnerable young migrants.
Tudor Trust - smaller community-led groups that support people at the margins of society in the UK, encouraging independence, inclusion and integration.
Weaver's Company Benevolent Fund - if in process of applying for registration; young offenders, prisoners and ex-prisoners, and young disadvantaged people, especially those at risk of criminal involvement.
Local Grant Makers - Ashford - Community Grants Fund, Cripplegate Foundation - Islington Community Chest, East End Community Foundation, Hertfordshire - Member Locality Budget Scheme, Pilkington Charities' Fund (Merseyside), Rainford Trust (St Helens), Sir John Middlemore Charitable Trust (West Midlands).
And last but not least (because I'm the Chair) - Aylesbury Vale Community Trust; sports and leisure.
