CharityConnect: Big claims but is anyone at home?
I have newly joined a charity in a senior role, and am taking stock. They are smallish successful and healthy yet have done no marketing or fundraising and I am charged with developing and implementing their marketing plan. Part of marketing to my mind syncs with fundraising in getting your profile and message heard and people relating to it.  However our health has come from financial acuity. So I have looked at free online fundraising databases. Initial i just looked up our name against fundraising to see if there were any old accounts etc. I found Total Giving,  https://www.totalgiving.co.uk which seems to work in tandem with Red Cloud, yet can get no response to them and wondered if Totalgiving is active or whether the site is still up but no ones at home. I imagine there are similar sites does anyone have recommendations? Or should I persuade the board to shell out on Blackbaud 'express' ?
So questions:
Are there any good free fundraising sites for charities?
What's the best blackbaud setup for a small charity?
What's better than balckbaud for charity CRM, fundraising and marketing?
