Stewardship Payroll Bureau emailed its CAF bank clients yesterday to advise that "we were unable to collect funds from a number of our CAF Bank clients’ as their usual monthly Direct Debit failed. The failure to collect payroll funds occurred as a result of unfortunate complications following the launch of CAF Bank’s new online banking service last week." To their great credit they have decided "to cover these funds in the interim to ensure that your employees are paid on Monday, 30 June as planned ... confident that these funds will be returned back to us shortly. Over the next few days, we will continue to try to receive your payment from CAF Bank." 

CAF is a failed bank and I'm so grateful that our payroll is managed by a charity specialist that is in a position to ensure that our staff our paid in spite of CAF's failure to process the direct debt.
