What is the general timeline for new charity registration?

This question is regarding a charity who generates income working with National Health Service ( 20%) and Insurance companies ( 80% ) and wanted to know if it is advisable to open a limited company and then open a bank account or to wait for the decision from the Charity commission and then open a charity bank account to start with . I know charity commission takes time in giving a decision about the application ,
