Child safeguarding and COVID-19

I'd like to reach out to everyone on the CharityConnect platform who works with, or for, children.

During crisis periods, such as the current pandemic, abusers, often working within organisations, will see this as an opportunity – while resources are stretched and minds are focused on other issues – to harm children. Helping organisations to recognise weaknesses, and implement good child safeguarding practices is what we do.

If you would like to find out more about child safeguarding and the issues surround this, we are holding our biggest-ever conference this year – the Keeping Children Safe 2020 Summit – online. Yes, it would be great to all meet up, but child safeguarding is too important to wait for the COVID-19 pandemic to go away. 

Holding the event online means that we will have far more capacity than ever before – we’re expecting up to 100 experts to be presenting and thousands of attendees. 

Join practitioners and experts sharing their child safeguarding insights, talk about recent research, successful programmes, and good practices, as well as ways to strengthen your organisation's safeguarding.
