Can charity staff challenge a failing board of trustees? (Anonymous post 🤫)

Quick query around whether a CIO has to put the same things in its letterheads / email footers as a charitable company do e.g. number, registration address etc or if as they aren't registered with companies house they don't have to add all the detail.
Several websites give differing views so wondered if anyone had ever had any specific advice on this.
