Hello,
Glad I found this support site.
I am chair/co founder of a small charity and have worked for 7 years on a purely voluntary basis. We have no paid staff.
We have the opportunity to expand and deliver an access project which I would really love to lead. This would involve quite a time commitment that I couldn't do voluntarily.
Is it possible to pay a trustee/chair if it's a contract? It is a separately funded project but under the umbrella of AIM our charity.
The options are I step down or don't lead the project which will be such a shame.
Any advice gratefully received.
