Land Registration Following Transfer to CIO

We have recently merged our village hall charity into a CIO which crystallised the need to transfer the land into the name of the CIO.
Prior to the transfer the land was not recorded with the Land Registry and consequently this is a first registration. The land has been held by the Official Custodian from the formation of the charity in 1954 to the date of transfer into the new CIO.
The Land Registry have come back to me and asked me to undertake a search in the Land Charges Department for Lincolnshire for every trustee of the original charity from 1954 to teh date of transfer.
My question falls into two parts:
1. Considering that the land has been held on trust by the Official Custodian does that mean I only have to do searches on the original trustee transfer in 1954 and, if not
2. What happens if I cannot identify everyone who has acted as a trustee of the original charity, I’m estimating that there may well be in excess of 200 people involved.
Any advice would be most welcome
