Fees involved when converting CIC into a charity?

Hi everyone
Currently I'm a sole trader with a "dormant" CIC.
I'm in the process of setting up another 2 businesses so I'm thinking about going LTD and just running everything under EE consulting TA ....
I'm also thinking of making the CIC into a charity to be able to get hold of Google ad credits so I can get it off the ground financially.
Thing is the account side of things scare me! I'm dyslexic and ADHD so aviod this and also the costs simply seem an awful lot. I paid 1k in account fees this year when I literally just handed all the info over and all they had to do was file my returns. It seems a lot and what I'm thinking is going to make it even more expensive.
What fees should I be expecting please?
And how much more involved is a charity versus CIC accounts and governing wise ?
