Just joined CharityConnect so this is my first post...

I work in finance department within the charity sector and will soon adopt a 'Finance Business Partnering' model of work within our team. This is very new to me and am slightly nervous about such a big change not only to our current way of work but the impact we will potentially have on the rest of the organisation.

I therefore would like to know what peoples' experiences having been in introducing that model within their organisations, what steps were taking in introducing this model not only within their finance department but with the wider organisation; as well as any guidance / advise you could give me on becoming an FBP please.

I appreciate there are quite a few questions there but really would appreciate any input on the subject.
