Hi everyone, 

I'm Lottie, I graduated from the University of Portsmouth nearly two years ago with a 2:1 in English literature and have been seeking jobs in the charity sector since then. I would love to be a Volunteer Coordinator but have been finding it difficult to find relevant work experience in volunteer management. 

For context, I currently volunteer at Spectrum Community Arts (a performing arts charity that offers workshops for disabled people) as a member of the Media and Marketing team where I create their termly newsletter and content for their social media. I also help out in their performing arts workshops and supervise the children and help at their events such as their summer concert and their May Day Fayre stall. 

I have gained some leadership skills and volunteer management such as managing the editorial team and its volunteer writers at my University's magazine and providing training for them, and managing a test centre and helping new colleagues in my current role as a Test Centre Administrator. 

I want to gain more experience in order to prepare for a Volunteer Coordinator role. I was wondering if anyone has some tips and advice?
