Gift Aid systems in a standalone retail shop

Has anyone got a recommendation for systems that will capture and process Gift Aid information/donations/income?
We operate 1 shop, with one staff member and a team of volunteers. We introduced a touch screen till system a few years ago which everyone is now comfortable with, but I'd really like to
a) increase our Gift Aid engagement and
b) make our Gift Aid claims as automated as possible, with the side benefit of capturing data safely.
Has anyone got experience or recommendations? With only 1 shop, I want to find the simplest and least costly solution.
