Governance Portal or software ideas

Hi,

I’m looking to create a digital space that trustees can use to see when their next board and sub meetings are, add minutes and agendas, and important documents.

I’m hoping to reduce email traffic, increase confidentiality and to give trustees access to documents as and when they need it.

I’ve been looking into using Sharepoint for this purpose but wondered if there is better software out there? It would have to be user friendly, inexpensive and easy to log into. Ideally trustees would be able to log on to the meeting virtually straight from the portal.

Does anyone have any tips, or suggestions, or can share what they currently use?
