Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!😊

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name’s Benita and I’m excited to be joining the CharityConnect team this week as a Community Manager. Don’t worry, the brilliant Rose who has been managing this community for the past few years isn’t going anywhere and will still be overlooking and contributing to this community too!

As for myself, I graduated from the University of Warwick with a psychology degree back in July and then did some volunteering for a charity managing their social media before joining the team here at CharityConnect. I am also helping to run the LinkedIn for our sister site CharityJob.

Aside from work, I love spending time in nature and will get outside and away from the hustle and bustle of the city at every chance I get! I’ve also undertaken quite a few fundraising ventures in the past, doing sponsored walks, runs, climbs, and bike rides to raise money for charity. (I’m hoping to learn how to swim soon so I can add that to the list as well!😄)

CharityConnect is primarily run by you, I’m just here to help support this wonderful community – to connect it’s members and to help it to thrive. As such, I’d love to know more about what you enjoy about CharityConnect, and what you would like to see more of.
