The vast majority of our funds come via Restricted grants and our auditor is telling us that there is no way we can take part of the funds to help grow our reserves. He won't let us include 'contribution to reserves' as part of our overheads.
Given this constraint, we are finding it difficult to grow reserves. Has anyone in the hive mind any thoughts on this situation?
