Dear All
We provide grants to animal welfare scientists. Many of our applications come from overseas. We use HSBC internet banking to make these payments. We make sure that the recipient fills in their details correctly with iBAN etc. It is getting increasingly problematic with about 25% of the payments bouncing back. It cannot be narrowed down to one country, however our main issues seem to be China, USA, Nigeria and India, but this year we have problems with European countries. Can anyone recommend an alternative way to send funds safely and securely that would be acceptable to the charity commission.
