I'm a recent graduate with a first class BA in Politics and a MSc in Social Policy and Social Problems. I'm really committed to finding a job in the charity sector, but I'm struggling to get on the ladder and find any paid work given that I only have a handful of experience. I'm very happy to volunteer (and will do so alongside my job) but I also need to sustain myself and I'm struggling to be able to balance these two things. 

Does anyone have any advice from when they were starting out?
