Does anyone have any tips for a small charity recruiting their first fundraising manager?
We have a small budget (approx 12,000 EUR per year) and a small donor base already to work from. We also have formal partnerships in place with big names such as UPS and National Geographic as of this year.
The role will be remote (from home) and highly autonomous as our team is very dispersed internationally.
Please can anyone share any info they have on recruiting a fundraising manager, methods they used, or even tips on what to include in their job description?
Also, do you think a 250k annual target is too high for a salary of this kind?
Any thoughts/tips/stories would be so appreciated!
