Low cost event ticketing solutions?

Hi there.
Can anyone recommend any low cost (or FOC!) event ticketing solutions? Something like Eventbrite, but lower cost.
As a small charity, we don’t often do ticketed events, but have the occasional concert or dinner where we sell individual tickets but don’t have sufficient admin resource to cope with an influx of cheques or phone calls or credit card transactions.
Any pitfalls? How do other charities deal with admin fees?
