I had a request from parents who wanted an option to donate £1 per month.
Most payment providers would take a significant chunk of this and do not have a recurring or subscription option.
The solution was LoPAY.
With LoPay, if you opt for a weekly payout, you get a low transaction rate of 0.79% - 1p on a £1 donation, £8p on £10.
They have an option to create reusable payment links for fixed amounts and payment links for recurring payments.
The form can be configured to collect name, address etc.
As the links are a bit long, I am using a URL shortening system and QR codes to make it simpler to sign up.
This means it's easy to collect recurring low value donations, and we get 99p of every £1 donated.
If your phone supports contactless payments, it can be used to take payments.
They also sell/rent card readers/terminals (ordered through the app).
Signing up gets you some free credit, so my first £1000 donations have no fees.

- It is all done via a phone APP.
- The reports are limited. while you can view the transactions and the details entered by donors, you cannot easily export them.
