Hi All,

We are having quite an issue getting a bank account. We use cashplus at the moment but want to move to a more established bank as the services are currently limited. We are three trustees, one of whom is a non-UK resident and no longer has a UK address. This has complicated our applications since we're a charity that is also registered with companies house. The banks are saying as long as the non-UK trustee/director is on companies house, he/she needs to be on the application. This has been the case so far with Lloyds and Coop. 

Metro have said we can 2 of 3 trustees/directors apply. We will proceed with them and hopefully there wont be any surpises. I have 2 questions:

1. Has anyone done charity banking with Metro? What's your experience?

2. Do you know of any other banks that would accept 2 of 3+ trustees to make an application?
