specsavers  has thanked customers for donating over 1200 of their used, or unwanted glasses in 2019, as part of Specsavers charity campaign to help people living in poverty in Africa to see more clearly.
Founded in 1985, Vision Aid Overseas has been helping some of the poorest people in the world for more than 30 years. The charity’s mission is to enable people living in poverty to access affordable glasses and eye care. please donate all your old glasses to any specsavers store.
All the collected glasses are recycled and the money made is used to help provide optical services in developing countries.
Most even provide a free eye test in the Liverpool Merseyside and Knowsley area   please check at your local store to see if you can also get a free eye test .Donate your old glasses also let family and friends know.
