Potentially vulnerable donor—any advice?

Hi all!
We've recently received a string of very erratic donations from a donor who is completely new to us; I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this kind of behaviour before?
The donor's first interaction with us was creating a monthly gift and they have since made several one-off gifts of very specific amounts (to the penny) in rapid succession. These are generally small amounts but have been coming in every two or three days, which seems to be very unusual behaviour.
If anyone has seen or dealt with similar behaviour in the past any advice you can give would be very appreciated!
