As a trustee of a small charity I have previously asked for the minutes of meetings held to be received as soon after as possible rather than one week before the next meeting. A compromise was agreed to receive action points. Now for the upcoming meeting we wil receive papers , (no previous action points received) a day beforehand, apart from the agenda which has been sent. We are told that it was because the staff were involved up until August 9th with a summer scheme and then having to take holidays. This is entirely for seen, though it was not helped by a trustee meeting for the second year running around the 20th July. I feel that this hampers my preparation for the meeting .
