Seeking advice in how to join charities who help refugees and asylum seekers

Hi everyone,
I have a background in digital marketing and sales support within the travel industry but I am looking to make a career change into the charity sector. As a former refugee I feel very passionate about helping those in similar situations I once was in with my family. I have a ton of transferable skills and would love to get some advice on how I can lead to become a caseworker for charities that help refugees.
Any suggestions and tips would be most appreciated.
