Firstly thanks for reading this post. At another charity that I involved with, we are hoping to run our first fundraising dinner at a restaurant. We need to do the following:

1. Take the booking and allow the booker to choose a time slot
2. The charity (not the restaurant) needs to take the full payment
3. Potentially collect gift aid details if we go down the basic price of ticket + suggested donation in order to be able to collect  gift aid on the suggested donation.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to take the booking and also the payment. It's better if the charity takes the payment not the restaurant. Ticketing platform like Eventbrite is quite expensive (6.95% + £0.59 per ticket which can be absorbed by either our charity or suffered by the booker). Any other thoughts for the ticketing platform and the method of taking payment. We could sell a max of 200 tickets so we need to try to keep costs down.
