This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
My colleague and I are whistleblowers. We also have a grievance against a trustee.Â
Yesterday, the trustees phoned us both up and told us we were suspended pending investigation for gross misconduct (with ridiculous claims). They have also asked for a closed negotiation, that we accept a payout but once we have taken this the grievance against the trustee is dropped.Â
The Charity Commission knows but the turn around for whistleblowing is min 30 days. We are day 16 now. I have asked for priority but cannot be guaranteed. We are taking legal advice but this is rotten to the core.Â
Any extra advice you could throw us would be gratefully accepted.
