Hi all. Trustees/Directors went to a meeting not knowing the agenda, they were informed by the Chairman and his daughter that he was retiring, he then proceeded to state that the club and charity were being closed down, and if other Trustees/directors did not sign resignation letter there and then, they would be liable for all the debts. The business is limited by guarantee and the charity unincorporated not for profit. Can they now withdraw the resignation due to misinformation, no agenda set, and no meeting of the members of the club?
