I am supporting someone in formally setting up their organisation, and as part of it they need to recruit more people to join as Directors. They'd like to invite someone on board, but that person is currently claiming Universal Credit, and obviously we don't want to cause complications with that.
This new Director wouldn't be receiving any income or benefits in kind from being on the board, so I assume it wouldn't affect anything, but I can't find any clarity on this.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions on where to look that would be much appreciated!
