Advice on membership discounts

I work at a not-for-profit membership organisation and want to help promote our new members discount for small charities (with annual incomes under £150k) however I am finding it difficult to generate real interest from charities.
Does anyone have any tips on how we can increase engagement with this? So far we have included it in the bulletin to members and posted it from our social media accounts.
